4.1 Which Incoterms does FoodsMas work with and what do they mean?

FoodsMas mainly works with the most common Incoterms for food exports, such as:

• FCA (Free Carrier) – The seller delivers the goods cleared for export to a carrier at an agreed place.

• FOB (Free On Board) – The seller delivers the goods on board the vessel at the port of shipment.

• CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight) – The seller arranges and pays for transport and minimum insurance to the port of destination.

• Other Incoterms may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The Incoterm defines:

• Who pays for which part of the transport

• Where the risk transfers from seller to buyer

• Which documents each party must provide
